Vintage Woven Leather & Bamboo Bag

Exceptional vintage COSCI bag crafted from intricately woven black leather with a sculptural genuine bamboo handle. The oversized, softly structured silhouette is finished with leather piping, warm metal hardware and a beautifully finished black leather interior.

COSCI was a Florentine leather-goods house known for its hand-crafted woven leather bags — part of Florence's long tradition of artisanal leatherwork. Vintage COSCI pieces are increasingly difficult to find, with surviving examples showcasing the house's particularly beautiful woven leather construction. 

The combination of the intricate weave and oversized bamboo handle makes this an especially striking example — understated from a distance, but incredibly detailed up close.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with light signs of age and previous use. Woven leather presents beautifully with minor natural creasing and surface wear. Bamboo handle is in excellent condition with the natural tonal variation and markings characteristic of bamboo. Interior is very clean overall. Hardware shows light age-related wear.
