Dolce & Gabbana Beaded Floral Tote c.2000

Beautiful vintage Dolce & Gabbana tote dating to around the early 2000s, crafted from a softly structured ochre-gold cotton fabric with long tan leather shoulder straps.

The front is intricately embellished with hand-worked glass beads and sequins forming trailing red roses, tiny green flowers and delicate foliage. The relatively simple utilitarian tote shape makes such a nice contrast against the elaborate beadwork — very characteristic of Dolce & Gabbana's romantic, decorative approach during this era.

Finished with long leather handles and an interior Dolce & Gabbana Made in Italy plaque. A really charming and unusually understated piece of early-2000s Dolce.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with signs of age and previous use. Fabric shows some natural softening, creasing and light tonal variation consistent with age. Leather handles have developed a lovely patina with some surface marks and wear.
