Leather Disc & Wooden Bead Bag

An incredible archive bag by Japanese label SALON de RUBAN, featuring a highly textural arrangement of overlapping leather discs in tonal mushroom, taupe and chocolate, accented with flashes of metallic gold.

The sculptural body is finished with oversized wooden bead detailing, warm amber-tone rings and wrapped handles, giving the piece a distinctly artisanal feel. The layered leather discs move independently, creating beautiful dimension and movement when worn.

A wonderfully unusual Japanese design with strong Y2K bohemian influence — playful, tactile and unlike anything being produced by the label today.

Very good pre-owned condition with light signs of previous wear consistent with age. Minor surface variation and natural wear may be present to the leather, canvas, beads and hardware.
