Established in 1952 by Hiroshi Tsubota, Tsubota Pearl produces artisan metalwork with all components made in specialised workshops in and around the Asakusa area of Tokyo; known as Shitamachi.
Their sleek Aluminium Wave lighter is made in Japan from steel, polycarbonate and cotton.
